Luckily our new GIANT still has just arrived, so pure alcohol production can keep up with the increasing amount of satisfied Simoncello fans! Smiles all round.

One night with Ferdinando

Voila! A few pics from an evening well spent at Ferdinando’s Pizza, the very first restaurant to stock Simoncello liqueurs.

Run by Diego (the chef), Kimon (the artist), and Ferdinando (the dog and boss), Ferdinando’s is a cosy little pizza restaurant in Loader Street, de Waterkant…it’s real Italian pizza, made with lots of love. And, what’s more, Ferdinando himself is irresistible.

The pizzas are a treat, as is the menu. Gluten free pizzas can be made on request, and there are quite a few veggie options too. I chose the Quattro Formaggi (who can resist cheese?), which was DELISH. Just like one of my favourite books, I wish it lasted forever!
So there you have it: the best pizza and the best limoncello – both in my favourite street in Cape Town. That’s awesomeness right there.
